The Meadow took an early lead through Gillies from the penalty spot and then dominated the remainder of the first half against a pedestrian Pollok side. The second half was much more evenly balanced but neither side could find a way to go until the one but last touch of the ball. Turnbull heading home the equaliser from a corner-kick; talisman Richie Newall having come on minutes before.
