GLENAFTON ATHLETIC 2 Kello Rovers 1
Scorers: Howie, Agnew
A last minute winner by Stevie Agnew secured the Glens' place in the quarter-final draw of the Rockware League Cup. The final game in the league section against Cumnock away at Townhead on Wednesday evening, will determine which of these two teams will top the section.
Willie Howie, with his first goal for the club in a competitive match gave the Glens the lead in the 26th minute. Rovers struck back on the hour mark through Kevin Elliot and in the closing minutes had the advantage handed to them when the Glens were reduced to 10 men, following Paul Deeney's straight red card. However Aggie's third goal in the competition ended Kello's hopes of making it through to the knock-out stages of the competition.
